The WEF is an independent international organisation committed to improving the state of the world by engaging business, political, academic and other leaders of society to shape global, regional and industry agendas.

Absa is a Strategic Partner Associate of the WEF and participates in a range of WEF-related initiatives, including the annual and regional meetings. Various senior officials of Absa have been nominated to serve as experts on various WEF committees and working groups.
